International Årø virtual camp in May, 04-07.05.21
A couple of weeks ago I took part in Årø virtual camp. It reminded me of the projects I took part in before the pandemic - lots of fun, getting to know new people and also interesting and serious topics to discuss.
This camp was special because it was teaching on how to be better. For example, on the third day of camp our group was given a task about how to be kind to your locals. We’ve not only came up with multiple ways to do it, but have also came up with our own new joke throughout the way.
I’ve learnt how to save the world - it is to save the Earth. I now know many horrifying and interesting facts about how we harm our planet and also how to prevent it from happening.
The best memory I have from this camp is when we used the app to work on a virtual board all together. I’ve started to write some commonly known jokes like “Amogus” “red is kinda sus” and “Owa owa”, and people who knew those jokes were laughing along with me.
After the workshop ended we’ve exchanged our social media and now we chat and play games together almost every evening.
Overall, Årø camp gave me a lot of good memories and new knowledge, it was organized well and the teachers were friendly.
