Erasmus+ K229 "Our Heritage: Where the Past Meets the Future" 

 

 

During the week from the 25th of November to the 1st of December, the first international meeting of the Erasmus + Project called "Our Heritage: Where the past meets the future" project took place.The meeting was held in Tarsus, a town quite close to the southern coast of Turkey, which is not that far from Cyprus. During these days, the school team of 4 students, our teacher of English Anna Ignatjeva, our headteacher Elena Vassiljeva and our headmistress Ljubov Fomina, were integrated into a very different culture, with the students living in host families with the participants from Turkey. This meeting was all about facilitating future meetings and also choosing the symbols of the project. Our lyrics and music were chosen as the hymn of the project. As for the logo, Croatia won the vote and their logo became our symbol. We also had the chance to visit the invigorating lands of Cappadocia and the surrounding areas of Tarsus, where we learned about many local traditions and customs, while also sharing ours long the way. This trip was a fabulous opportunity train our English, as well as learn about a vastly different culture, which will certainly help us in the future!

В течение недели, с 25 ноября по 1 декабря, состоялась первая встреча по проекту Erasmus + под названием "Our Heritage: Where the past meets the future". Встреча проводилась в Тарсусе, городе на южном побережье Турции, недалеко от Кипра. В эти дни наша школьная команда, состоящая из 4 учеников, учителя английского языка Анны Игнатьевой, завуча Елены Васильевой и директора школы Любови Фоминой были интегрированы в совершенно другую культуру. Дети проживали в турецких семьях. Программа поездки была очень насыщенной: мы обсудили расписание наших следующих встреч, выбрали лого и гимн проекта, причем гимн, представленный нашей школой стал победителем. Мы смогли посетить удивительные места близ Тарсуса, узнать больше о традициях и культурном наследии Турции, попрактиковать разговорные навыки английского языка.
